Our History
New Public School is deeply rooted in a rich history that spans over four decades of excellence in education. Founded in 1973 by Shri DG Singh Yadav, the school began with a humble vision: to provide quality education and empower the youth of Lucknow. What started as a modest school with just 100 students has since grown into one of the most respected educational institutions in the region.
Shri DG Singh Yadav, a visionary educator, was the pioneer behind the concept of public schools in Lucknow. His dedication to education and his belief in fostering holistic development in students led him to create a learning environment where both academic and personal growth were prioritized. Over time, the institution expanded its facilities, curriculum, and student body, becoming a beacon of learning for families in Lucknow and beyond.
Today, New Public School operates under the guidance of the same principles and values that Shri Yadav instilled from the very beginning—academic excellence, holistic development, and a deep commitment to community. Our Rai Bareli Road campus, strategically located near the Lucknow Railway Station and the Lucknow Airport, continues to uphold this legacy, offering students a world-class education in a nurturing and inspiring environment.
From its modest beginnings to its current status as a leading educational institution, New Public School’s history is a testament to the vision, passion, and dedication of its founder, Shri DG Singh Yadav, and the generations of students, teachers, and families who have been part of this journey.
